AICPA
My staff and I are committed to providing excellent service while maintaining the highest level of quality. As a firm that issues reports in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
professional standards, I participate in the AICPA Peer Review Program
whereby one CPA firm will be audited by another CPA firm to ensure that
it is performing work of the highest quality. My firm undergoes peer
review every three years.
In July 2007, I
successfully completed an independent peer review of my accounting and
audit practice. My participation in
peer review demonstrates my firm's desire to measure up to the
profession's high standards of professionalism and my commitment to
maintaining and improving the quality of my practice. My next peer review is scheduled for January 2010.
CALCPA
I am a member of the California State CPA Society whose main mission is
to increase the value and promote the integrity of the CPA profession,
contribute to the success of its members, and strengthen client,
employer, public and government trust in CalCPA members' advice, work
products and opinions. My membership includes involvement with local technical committees, interest groups and
CPA discussion groups which provide professional networking and continuing professional education.
AICPA PRIVATE COMPANIES PRACTICE SECTION
The Private Practice Center provides a venue for CPA firms to harness business opportunities and overcome challenges in their firms by providing a rich array of valuable information and resources for firms of all sizes in the area of practice management. PCPS is committed to making practicing CPAs and their firms successful. Some of these resources include issues related to succession planning, personnel resources, financial literacy, and the small firm advantages.
